summer has ended over here in my neck of the woods, it's finally rainy season. but being a tropical country we also get to enjoy sunny day here and there.

and since DH will be here end of the month (this sunday) it will be expected that we will be hitting the beach any time soon.

to pay my respect (haha) to my friends in the US, also this week's theme over in AV's blog is a beach ready get-up so i made myself a montage of what i love to wear while enjoying the beach and basking under the heat of the sun. and who knows my set will be an inspiration to AV's thousands of readers (wink, wink).

you see, i have thing for shades and though my collections are far from crazy (yet) i like shades... a lot! and i always wear one because i have astigmatism so wearing shades when i'm exposed to sun is a necessity for me. 

currently, i'm crushing this shades.

i wish i can wear an all white ensemble but the mommy me is aware that i cannot. all white + a toddler = cannot be, mister! 

so maybe my not so distant life (pre motherhood) will wear these (budget permits). my absolute love on the set is the purse! i mean, this purse looks like i'm just grabbing some bagel. haha!!

for this monday let's skip the how we weekend post as our weekend was nothing but boring. we didn't leave the house for the entire weekend and instead we sleep a lot. imagine my happiness! ha!

so, a what we wore post is all you got from us over here. it takes me awhile to update this post. life of a mother, that is.

if you follow me in instagram you must have seen this photos already but i don't mind you staying and say hi. ;)

red and white combo, you never fail with a pop of red. really. 

yellow and blue. you want to colour block but don't know where to start? you do the yellow and blue combo, the easiest. 

because we agree with audrey hepburn. we believe in pink too. and we believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. 

 because when you wake up to a closetful of nothing-to-wear, denim shorts and white shirt are your solutions. 

in case you're wondering we have dress in our closet too, not just shorts ya' know. 

but we always go back to wearing shorts because it's easier to chase a toddler and in toddler's case easier to run and get away from meme. and oh, we live in the tropics too!

our take on the neon trend. 

because we are girls and we like wearing skirt too. a skirt that we can twirl all day long.

here's a little WWNR mommy edition. this post is inspired by james of bluebird. 

i WANT a new camera, my current one is broken (the LCD) and i want this. 

i WEAR this shirt probably a million times. i'm on the hunt for the perfect grey shirt actually and unlucky me i still haven't found the one i really like. actually i already did found one but it's not here in Philippines and it's not mine. it's DH shirt and it's in SG. 

i NEED this. i need to have my eye check again, ASAP. my eyes are bothering me and causing me headaches. 

i'm currently READING this. so far so good.

for us living in the Philippines summer is finally upon us (apology for my friends and readers who are still suffering the cold weather).

here's a montage I'm liking around the net and which me thinks an absolute "necessity" to survive the heat. and of course to stay stylish even you're dripping with sweat.

* mehn, i love those polka dots swimsuit! but sad to say it's already sold out. you can buy similar design via my friends online shop, city of vintage but I'm warning you her pieces are limited and coveted by everyone else so it's all gone before you know she has a new collection. i hope though she'll have this swimsuit  again in her next collections. 

* 4 can be purchased at the flat shop or for us not living in Manila it can also be purchased online via zalora they don't have this style though. 

*5 & 6 made me ache to be in singapore right now where there's h&m and cotton on. le sigh. (pssst...DH, i love you! can you buy me those? Haha)

* 7 can be purchase via chicify and zalora. i love that clutch ever since Mikka launch but i still can't justify me buying a clutch. because let's face it i'm a mother and i bring a gazillion of things every time i head out and i don't have any night life too! lame. don't you think i'll just buy this just so i can have a peace of mind once and for all?
